The Friends of the Larkspur Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting our wonderful library and furthering its vital role in our community.

We promote the library and support its outreach efforts through activities including:

• Produce special events, such as author events, poetry readings and mystery teas
• Promote love of reading in children through supporting special programs and events, such as the Summer reading program, puppet shows and story-time
• Run quarterly book sales to raise discretionary funds for the library
• Publish newsletter featuring informative content from library staff, book reviews, event notifications and “staff picks”
• Coordinate interesting and dynamic group of volunteers to assist library staff with special projects
